Apply for Translator
A translator will translate one chapter at a time from Japanese to English. You have your choice of series, but you might not always get your first choice. We have many future projects that need to be translated.
Requirements:
+Able to translate Japanese-to-English fairly well (get the idea accurately across)
+Must be reliable. Translators get 1 to 2 weeks to finish a chapter.
+Have an email adress and be able to download things from winzip.
As a Translator, You Will...
+Translate chapters of a series that is available
+NOT need to own the book or magazine. Scans will be provided.
+NOT have a login to the nagareboshi domain, but will be promoted to a mod on the Nagareboshi forum.

+Emailing pichipitch[at]gmail[dot]com.
When you apply, you will be send approximately 5 pages as a test translation. If you can translate it accurately, you're in!
NOTE: We currently have enough translators. Applications are closed for now, unless you've had experience.
Apply for Editor
An Editor will basically scanlate the chapter; remove the Japanese text and put in the English. A translation will be provided.
Requirements:
+Able to clean, clone, etc and have no evidence of Japanese text left behind.
+MUST able to edit sound effects
+Must be reliable. Get things to me in a good timeframe so I'm not waiting forever (max 3 weeks).
+Have an email adress and be able to download things from winzip.
As an Editor, You Will...
+Scanlate one or more series that you like (or are available)
+NOT need to own the book or magazine. Scans will be provided.
+Be promoted to a mod on the Nagareboshi Forum.
Apply By...
+Completing the Exam.
+Emailing it to pichipitch[at]gmail[dot]com.
